USPS 2011 Holiday Shipping Deadlines Announced

It's that time of year again!  Well, it feels like it has been for quite some time for me.  I started working in a popular craft store a year ago this December.  It's the first time I've ever worked in retail so imagine my shock when I saw that we had Christmas stock start showing up in the store in JULY.  I kid you not.  I typically enjoy this time of year but have been exposed to it for so long already this year, I'm feeling pretty over it already.  lol.  Regardless, I just thought I'd share with you the USPS 2011 Holiday shipping deadlines.  Please remember to buy handmade this holiday season!  =)

PBS

This guest post from Doris Dillon

I am so glad that my kids enjoy watching PBS. It was included in our package of channels from Direct.TV. I remember watching PBS as a kid with my mom. We would spend hours watching Anne of Green Gables and I remember loving to snuggle up with my mom on the couch while we watched it. Now I can continue that tradition with my daughters. It is hard to believe that PBS still shows the same movies after so many years. It is hard to find wholesome shows and movies on television these days, so I am grateful that PBS has not lowered its standards. My husband told me the other day that he has never even heard of Anne of Green Gables. He is the oldest of four boys, so I am sure his mom could not have convinced any of those rowdy boys to cuddle up on the couch with her for a movie like that. That is one of the many reasons I am glad that I have daughters. Now iff only I could get my husband to watch it with us.
