This necklace is inspired by spring and the blooming of not only flowers but hope. I hope that like the open flower, hearts will open for hope and for a good cause. The pink is the color for the breast cancer foundation. So the flower has hues of pink.
Aware . breast cancer awareness fairy art print by aquariann ($7)
Add some magic to your world with this enchanting print featuring "Aware" - a colored pencil work by fantasy artist kristin cornell.
The first image is a detail and the second is the entire artwork. Measurements 4x5" print, double matted to 5x7".
About original piece: "Aware" is a breast cancer awareness fairy inspired by my mom, a survivor of 14 years. The lump was discovered in her breast back in 1994, but was misdiagnosed as benign until six months later. I was in 7th grade at the time, and have never been more scared in my life. The most vivid memory I have of that time isn't waiting in the hospital or helping with the drainage tube - it was when she had to cut her hair because of the chemo. Her hair had flowed to her knees the entire 13 years I'd known her and seeing her without it was a big change. I can't even begin to imagine how tough it was for her to recover from cancer. She is an incredibly strong woman.
These dazzlers are made of jeweler's Brass and Silver lined Fuchsia seed beads. They hang almost 2 7/8 inches from gold plated posts with clutch back, and are approximately 3/4 inch across at it's widest point.

Ostara, German Goddess of Easter by Daydreamer Art ($16)
This was supposed to be a painting of an Easter FAIRY... but I realized after I had it scanned in that I forgot her wings!!! OOPS! But I had taken the idea from Oestre, now more commonly refered to as Ostara, the German Goddess of Oestre/Eoster- or also known as Easter. So I feel it must have been meant to be that she turned out as she did. A happy accident! This is an 8x10 print of my original painting. Copyright stamps of course are NOT on the print, only for web viewing purposes.
Pink and Silver Stepping Stones Bracelet by derivativeofu
A bright pink ribbon runs the length of this fun, modern bracelet and hundreds of tiny rings were woven together to create this playful weave. Pink and Silver Byzantine/Moebius Ball Earrings by derivativeofu
This pair of earrings is a twist on the classic and beautiful Byzantine weave. Made from bright and anodized aluminum (which will never rust or tarnish), they have pink accents and a pink Moebius ball dangling below. These lightweight earrings measure 1 1/4" from the top of the top ring to the bottom of the bottom ring and dangle from sterling silver ear wires.
Canterbury Bells Earrings by FaerieKat ($15)
In the Victorian language of flowers, Canterbury Bells signify gratitude, and gratitude is exactly what I had in mind when I created these dainty cup-and-saucer version earrings to support awareness for research and outreach efforts to cure breast cancer.
Delicate bell and saucer shaped flowers of pale pink Lucite with tiny brass cap sepals hold tiny golden Swarovksi crystal bicones on Vintaj brass wire stamens and stems that have been carefully hand hammered and hand wrapped. Each bell dangles from a Vintaj brass ear wire and measures 1 3/4 inches (4.445 cm) long.
The name campanula is the diminutive of campana, Latin for bells, and means little bell, referring to the shape of the flower. Perhaps the most well known campanula is the Canterbury bell. The source of its name is an English legend in which a priest turns three wicked young men into swans forced to fly endlessly for a thousand and one years. On one flight over Canterb ury , they heard the nearby ringing of the Christian church bells. Awed by the sound, the spell was broken.
They fell to earth at Canterbury where St. Augustine found them lost and bewildered and led them into the church. As they went inside, little bell-shaped flowers sprang up from the ground where they stepped. The flowers were dedicated to St. Augustine and later to St. Thomas à Becket, who was murdered in the cathedral at Canterbury in 1170.
Another version says these bell-shaped flowers gained their moniker from their resemblance to the tells horse bells, cowbells, and small hand bells the pilgrims travelling to Canterbury carried on poles so the jangling and ringing would signify that they were harmlessly on a pilgrimage while wending their way to pray at St. Thomas’ shrine.
From “A Contemplation upon Flowers: Garden Plants in Myth and Literature” by Bobby J. Ward, 1999

Cop A Feel by mermaiden
Already very keen on breast health and self-exams, mermaids during the Victorian
era scorned their buttoned up human counterparts and showed what their
mamas gave them. This beautiful art nouveau styled nymph has her toplessness

FAIRY CAT STATUE - Fantasy Fairie Concrete Art by Phenome Gnome ($14.99)
