The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley is one of my favorite books. It recounts Arthurian legend from the point of view of the women involved. It is a truly unique, detailed version of a tale steeped in myth. I highly recommend it for fantasy lovers, feminists, faery folk, Goddess worshippers, and everyone in between.

Thank you so much for featuring our oil on your wonderful blog about Avalon!
Hmm...I think I need to pop some popcorn and watch the Mists of Avalon. :)
a delightful collection- honored to be included with some of my favorite Etsy friends. Ian (my beloved circlet wizard) has a funny tale about drinking cider and walking to the top of Glastonbury Tor , but thats a story for another day tho
Gorgeous collection!! "Mists of Avalon" is my favorite. Whenever I am going through a rough period in my life, I pull it out and read it again!
love the book, and the movie'll do in a pinch ;] that circlet is my favorite of Thyme's pieces. Beautiful gorgeous magical mood here.
you always find the coolest stuff!
Heather: Believe it or not, I don't think I've seen the movie yet!
Karla: Do tell!
Gypsy: What a great idea. I think I could use to read it again. It's been a long time.
Julie & Cory: Thank you both for stopping by and joining in!
