The past couple of weeks have been pretty busy with work and some stress, so I hadn't had the chance to update you on the 30 Day Shred but I did finish it right before I got busy. And it was AWESOME. Jillian totally kicked my ass and even though it was hard, I loved it! I felt myself getting stronger the whole time I was doing the program and it left me feeling good after every workout. Sure, some days were harder than others and I was a bit over eager for progress at times but it was totally worth it. Unfortunately, during the last couple days of the program, I was dealing with a shoulder injury which prevented me from doing it totally full out. Yup, I was frustrated and disappointed by that mainly because I wanted to finish strong. There's nothing I could do about an injury, though, so I maintained proper form and was still able to finish the program.
I can't believe I'm doing this because these photos are embarrassing on so many levels, but in the interest of possibly helping motivate someone else to get healthy and give this workout a shot... Here are the before and afters. The before shot was taken one week into the program and the after shot was taken about three weeks after I finished it.
To sum up: LOVED the workout, LOVED the results. Next workout planned:

Wow-I'm impressed! You looked great before but I can tell the workout really toned everything. Good job! You're making me want to try it for myself. =)
What a sexy tummy you have! (After AND Before ;) Way to go on finishing the program and achieving great results!!
I'm glad you posted the pictures because it's so inspirational. Plus, I'm glad that I'm not the only one struggling through workouts. I'm not brave enough to post pictures because I have a lot further to go, plus I'm old. LOL
Isn't it amazing how much better you feel when you workout regularly. I wish everyone knew that little secret.
You look incredible and what a difference! Keep up the good work!
Way to go! And you have nothing to be embarrassed by! I can see how much more toned you are. Painting kicks my butt, I'm sure Jillian would kill my old ass!
Thank you so much for the kind words, ladies! I just started Jillian's Ripped in 30, so I'll have to give a review on how that's going soon, too. =)
thank you for posting the pictures, it does help. I've started that dvd so many times and have yet to get past my 2 week mark. I started again today and felt great after my first workout. I needed motivation to keep it up and found a link to your blog on pinterest. Congrats on the amazing results!
